Why does the website login User Name need to be the National H.O.G. member number?

  1. Chapter membership requires that you are an active National H.O.G. member.
  2. Chapter memberships expire each year on December 31.
  3. Administratively at the beginning of each year all website accounts are deactivated. As members renew, their names are checked against a National provided membership list to ensure they are active National members. The National membership list only shows member name and H.O.G. Id. In the past it has been extremely time consuming trying to match over 300 almost meaningless website user names to the National member real-names.
  4. Once a Chapter member renews their Chapter membership and it is verified they are an active National member their Chapter website account is activated for the remainder of the year.
